Our client was retired, but had a wealth of experience in designing and building high-value properties in the London area with a number of accolades in National and International Property Awards.

He purchased a new property in Wimbledon. The property was a four-bedroom, detached house which was constructed in 1970 arranged over ground and one upper floor. It was nearing the end of a comprehensive programme of refurbishment to a very high standard of specification and our client required funding to reimburse him the cost of the refurbishment works.

Solution

We arranged a 12-month regulated bridging facility. This allowed him to capital raise to then reimburse him for the funds he had expended on the works for his next dream home, with the bridging facility being repaid through the sale of their current property.
